You saw me crying in the cha ( C ) pel,
But my tears were tears of ( G ) joy.
I know the meaning ( E7 ) of content ( A7 ) ment,
( D7 ) Now I'm ( A7 ) happy ( Am7 ) with the ( G ) Lord.
Just a plain and simple cha ( C ) pel,
Were humble people go to ( G ) pray.
