Zacchaeus was a wee little

man, and a wee little man
    D 
was he.

He climbed up in a

sycamore tree, for the
 D       A         D 
Lord he wanted to see.
    D      A      D 
And as the Savior passed
    A      D         A 
him by, He looked up in the
 D 
tree, And he said,

 “Zacchaeus, you come down from there;
        D             A 
For I’m going to your house
   D   A         D 
to-day,… for I’m going to 
     A     D 
your house today”.
 
   D      A         D 
Zacchaeus came down from
      A      D         A 
that tree, as happy as he 
      D      D  
could be, He gave his 
 A     D      A 
money to the poor, and
 D 
said: “What a better man I’ll be.”
 
 D       A 
 A sinful heart was
 D         A 
certainly changed when
 D         A           D 
Jesus the Lord passed by.
   D       A 
He wants to change your 
 D            A 
sinful heart too, this 
 D            A      D 
truth you can-not de-ny.
   D     A       D    
If you de-sire to see the
 A        D     A 
Lord the Bible tells the 
 D 
way:
For it says, “Believe Christ died for you.”
        D 
He will come into your 
 A       D    A 
heart to-day.… Yes He’ll 
 D              A 
come into your heart to 
 D 
stay.
