Canada, My Home

This is my country, this is my home,
It makes no difference in the world where I roam. 
From the banks of Newfoundland to the Rockies in BC,
This is Canada, home of the free.

We're known by the maple leaf , the symbol of our land.
People know Canadians will give a helping hand. 
Many want to live here because of our democracy.
They know Canadians respect humanity. 

This is my country, this is my home,
It makes no difference in the world where I roam. 
From the banks of Newfoundland to the Rockies in BC,
I am Canadian,  I'm proud  and  I free. 

Our neighbors to the south in the USA, 
Boast Freedom of Speech and toting guns as they please
But extremism,  Qanon and White Supremacy
Doesn't make for a great democracy. 

That's why,
This is my country, this is my home,
