Well there were two good ol boys named Steve Goodman and John Prine that wrote this song and they said it was the perfect country and western song. Some would say it was not the perfect country and western song, because it didn’t say anything at all about mama or trains or trucks or prison or getting’ drunk. Well Steve sat back down and wrote another verse to the song. I know you know how it goes, so sing it with me. It goes:
